Elbit Systems Germany introduced several cutting-edge defence systems for the first time in Germany. Diehl Defence is showcasing its advanced Sky Sphere drone defence system, with a special focus on the newly developed eMissile CICADA. Making its European debut, CICADA targets Class 1 and 2 drones, offering both lethal and non-lethal interception options.

The Q-Works silencer benefits from optimized internal structures enabled by advanced manufacturing, enhancing noise suppression, heat dissipation, and durability. It meets military noise reduction standards (“Ear Safe” under 140 dB) and is compatible with military calibres, with the flexibility to adapt to custom requirements.

Waterproof Diving International AB presented a new wetsuit designed for combat divers and adopted by naval special forces. The set includes neoprene suits in 1 mm, 3 mm, and 7 mm thicknesses, with optional neck cuffs, integrated thigh and arm pockets, and abrasion-resistant Toughtex reinforcements on knees, seat, and elbows.

Notably, this is the first wetsuit printed with the official Flecktarn camouflage pattern by the Federal Printing Office, with troop deployment starting in spring 2024.

Also showcased was Outer-limits GmbH’s self-sealing rescue collar, designed for divers and boat crews. It provides buoyancy even after knife stabs or bullet holes (up to 9 mm). Available in two sizes, the collar ensures stable supine positioning in emergencies, even if the wearer is unconscious.

The closed design protects against sand, dust, and moisture, and features adjustable brightness with ten levels and an automatic mode.

Meprolight also launched the MVO series, a range of scopes designed for different combat scenarios. KG, explained that EXTRAGUARD significantly reduces weight while enhancing performance, making boots 50 to 70 grams lighter than comparable leather models.
